Is September a busy or slow time for a mexican cruise?

littlehollybelle asked:

I am planning a cruise for my family and want to take the kids on a four or five day mexican cruise leaving Long beach in September, my question is, what are the ups and downs of going in September? Bad or good weather? busy or slow? Those types of things. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!

It is one of my favorite times. There is a small chance of rain, but not as much as later in the fall. Air and water temps are still fairly warm, and all the kids are back in school, so the price on cruises drops, and things are not as crowded.

September is hurricane season which means your ship may have to detour to avoid bad weather, causing you to miss one or more ports of call. If possible, they will take you to an alternative location, or stay for a longer time at another scheduled port. Of course, the weather might be perfect throughout your trip and everything will go according to plan, but know that your itinerary *might* get shifted around a bit. It’s a good idea to check this site: before your trip to know if there are any storms in the areas you will be cruising.

And finally, do not worry if a storm comes up. The cruise ship will do everything in its power to continue to provide a good (and SAFE) experience for you.

September is good time, wheather some time it’s rain but most of the time it’s sunny, but it’s important know where you going, some places are better than other, but i thik is good time because it’s no realy hot.

September is usually a pretty decent time to go. Rain is possible, but not as likely as some other times. Let me know if you need assistance in the reservation process.
