I want the option of getting and receiving phone calls in an emergency, but not roaming charges or out-of-country internet charges.

For emergencies you can change your voice mail greeting to include the cruise line’s emergency contact number. Family members can contact you through the cruise line in the event of an emargency.

turn on the airplane mode in settings! this way no one can call or txt and you can still use the features!!

  3. TechHelper Says:

    On the iPhone click on
Settings — General — Network — turn Data Roaming OFF
This way you will not get any data roaming charges, but you’ll still be able to receive calls, and if you simply don’t answer the phone you will not be charged for the call.
